Unrecorded in British Empire Civil Censorship Devices,
World War II - British Asia by Konard Morenweiser (2011 Edition)
Purpose of this page: Morenweiser has put is a lifetime of effort recording these devices and published and constantly updated his findings in multiple editions starting 1985. The last edition was published in 2011. My own area of study has been of material related to India only. I am listing material not recorded in Morenweiser's book as an update.
Material falling in any of the following categories is considered.
1. Unrecorded devices.
2. Examples where the date was left blank.
3. Examples where the date range can be extended beyond earliest recorded or last recorded date of usage.
4. Towards the end of the study, Morenweiser has recorded devices which may not under a narrow definition of 'censorship devices' but are nevertheless noteworthy of study and recording. I have added such unrecorded examples as well.
